Pack 56 took part in the annual Lantern Walk in the Town Forest on Friday, October 27. More than 50 children and adults gathered at the trailhead after dark and then walked together down a trail lined by fairy lanterns (water bottles with glow sticks inside) the Cubs had made several weeks ago. Deep in the woods, the Cubs and families gathered around a campfire, sang a couple of songs, and then heard a fun ghost story from Dave Dingledei. Then the best part: S’mores!
