Thanks to the help of Pack 56 parent and Coast Guard veteran Si Gatto, Pack 56 was able to visit Boston on Sunday, August 19, 2018 and get a wonderful tour of Coast Guard Sector Base Boston. While part of the group took the T in from Braintree station, others rode the Hingham ferry. But we all gathered at the base gate where we split into two groups again and received wonderful tours from Lieutenants Daghri and Halvsi and Ensign Condon. The Pack was able to go aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Spencer as well as a couple of the smaller patrol boats and then to see the Operations Center in the headquarters. What a great time and thank you to Coast Guard Sector Base Boston and our wonderful tours guides.
